Summary

A woman's love of impressionist art draws her into a ghostly mystery along the North Yorkshire coastline. Staying alone in a sprawling, long-abandoned estate in Yorkshire would be madness to some. On the other hand, art enthusiast Lissy de Luca is looking forward to the isolation--and to beginning her research into the Staithes Group. It was here, more than a century ago, that the roiling seas and towering cliffs inspired the artistic passions of the famed commune.
