This series for school students explores various topics relating to Australian geography. Australia has connections with many countries around the globe. As well as trade relationships, Australians travel all over the world and many foreign tourists visit our shores. Australia has a particularly significant connection to countries in the Asia / Pacific region, as these are our nearest neighbours. In this book, students will investigate Australia's connection with these neighbours in terms of migration, education and cultural influences. They will also examine the impact of foreign aid to countries such as Nepal, Vietnam and Tonga countries with whom Australia is united not just by proximity or aid but also by culture and people.
