The Gipps Street site (the Project) is located on Gipps Street, Claremont Meadows, a suburb located within the Local Government Area (LGA) of Penrith City Council. The site was previously a landfill location that accepted household waste until it was decommissioned in 1956. Remediation of the site has been undertaken since decommissioning with the aim of developing it into a recreation and open space destination for the community.
