Mrs Catherine Mary Wholohan, formerly of Greendale, and late of St Marys, died at her residence Sainsbury Street on Wednesday last. Born at Greendale, her father being an Englishman from Birmingham and her mother an Irishwoman from Tipperary. She married Patrick Wholohan, a farmer and carrier who died in 1883, and there were 13 children from the marriage, two who died in infancy. She was interred at Greendale in the family grave.
