A Field Guide to the Snakes and Lizards of New South Wales

Swan, Gerry1990
Books, Manuscripts
No group of animals excites as much interest as reptiles. People either like them or loathe them. Fortunately there has developed in recent years a more tolerant attitude to these creatures. Australia has such an extensive reptilian fauna that it is inevitable that most people will encounter these animals, whether it be while engaging in recreational activities or while working. It makes sense to at least be able to recognise the various types of reptiles and to distinguish the dangerous from the harmless.
