In conformity with the proposal that some of the money made available by the Federal Government for the relief of unemployed be allocated for expenditure on the Blacktown-St Marys Water Scheme, the President of Blacktown Council has approached the Unemployment Relief Committee, but has been informed that the application should come from the Water Board. A deputation is being arranged from Blacktown and St Marys Councils.
